Robin Houghton‘s marketing career spans over 20 years including international managerial positions with Nike and Adidas. Since 2000 she has worked exclusively in the digital space, with her own communications consultancy . She has an MA in Digital Media (Distinction) from the University of Sussex.
An experienced presenter and trainer, Robin has designed and delivered social media training for groups and mentoring for individuals. She believes in the power of social media as an agent of change internally and as a powerful communication tool externally.
Alongside her consultancy and training, Robin is a commercial writer and has authored articles and opinion pieces for many business publications including Market Leader, the journal of the Marketing Society.
Robin has had three books published by Ilex (Octopus Publishing Group) Blogging for Creatives, The Golden Rules of Blogging and Blogging for Writers.
Robin is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
