Sheila Gooddie was a teacher, bookseller, researcher, and, for more than 25 years, a writer.
Her books include The Summers of Shotton co-written with the late Brian Redhead, published by Hodder & Stoughton, Annie Horniman: A Pioneer in the Theatre, published by Methuen and Mary Gladstone: A Gentle Rebel, the story of the daughter of eminent Liberal Prime Minister, William Gladstone, which was published by John Wiley.
