Claire Gillman

Claire Gillman is an experienced editor, writer and broadcaster. Her first book Inside the Parachute Regiment was published by Bloomsbury in 1993. Since then, she has written a further 30 books on subjects ranging from parenting, spirituality and alternative health to a number of titles on how to write non-fiction and how to get published for the Hodder Teach Yourself series; not to mention eight children’s books, mostly under the pen-name of Rory Storm.

Her latest book, Learning to Love the Spaces In Between, was published by Welbeck in Autumn 2022 and she has since then been ghost-writing a book for Hay House (to be published in Winter 2023).

Claire was formerly the editor of Kindred Spirit magazine for ten years and has contributed to many leading women’s magazines and national newspapers including The Times and the Guardian.

She is an editor and mentor for Jericho Writers (formerly the Writers’ Workshop) and has enjoyed helping many aspiring writers to realise their dream of becoming a published author

See Claire’s interview with Canvas8 on her book The Sandwich Generation,  to launch their 2021 Thought-Leader series of articles below:
