Terry Horne

Terry Horne is an expert on strategic thinking.  Formerly Senior Lecturer in Business Studies at Lancashire Business School, UCLAN, he is now a full-time writer.  Together with co-author, Simon Wootton, he has pioneered the world’s most advanced models of how the brain works.

His books include Strategic Thinking for Kogan Page, Managing Public Services for Routledge, Training Your Brain, Keep your Brain Sharp, Brain Training Boot Camp, Brilliant Brain Training and Advanced Brain Training for Hodder & Stoughton.

Simon Wootton

Simon Wootton was Chief Accountable Officer at NHS Heywood Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group and is now running his own consultancy, Irwell Valley Consulting (www.irwellvalleyconsulting.co.uk).  Simon has extensive senior public sector and independent sector management experience as well as senior pharmaceutical sales experience.

He is a cognitive expert in the fields of mental health and business and has co-authored six books with Terry Horne entitled Training Your Brain, Keep Your Brain Sharp, Brain Training Boot Camp, Brilliant Brain Training, Advanced Brain Training and Build Your Brain Power: The Art of Smart Thinking for Hodder & Stoughton and Strategic Thinking for Kogan Page.

Routledge recently published the second edition of Managing Public Services, co-written by Simon with Tony Doherty.
